A lowly, disgraced Baron has been exiled to the Western Borderlands as its governor. The Baron has begun working with an ancient Demon Lord and Bandit King in a nefarious plot to regain his reputation and power. Settlers are missing. The Emperor grows concerned. The Western Borderlands needs heroes. Who will answer the call?

The Baron of Blood Redux is a recreation of an adventure that I wrote and published for Dungeon World in 2014. As the original manuscript has been lost, this document is a recreation from the physical copies I still have. The text is mostly left intact, as a relic to my design sensibilities, being what they were, at the time. I have made some very minor text adjustments here and there, editing spelling and grammar mistakes, rewriting minor passages for clarity, or to reduce redundancies. I have also swapped out the amateurish illustrations I did for the original book with wonderful Creative Commons art.

Reading The Baron of Blood in 2023 is a walk down memory lane. While the text has issues here and there, it is something that I am very proud of regardless.
