Curse of the Goblin King

The Bloody Fang Clan are cursed. If by the twilight of their third year of reign the current Goblin King cannot find a human noble to wed, they are turned to stone.

This curse has lasted for ten Goblin generations, or roughly one hundred years. The Bloody Fang Clan’s throne room is filled with stone statues of failed Goblin Kings.

King Gerlinda’s third year draws to a close and she has yet to find a human noble to marry. She is desperate to be the first Goblin King to break the curse.

Goblin scouts have abducted Lordling Leto from the nearby steading of Kamlet. King Gerlinda will wed Leto by spearpoint in one ten-day.

The Duke of Kamlet is livid, his reputation has been besmirched. Imagine the scandal.  The Duke has hired adventurers and mercenaries to reclaim his heir with promises of the Lordling’s weight in silver upon his safe, unmarried return.
